His feathers are beautifully sculpted to look as realistic as possible, much like the human skull which looks aged. Around his feet lie small roses, scattered both around and atop the skull. Beneath the rose garland, a golden crown can be seen, maybe the owner of the skull was more than they seem? Under the skull sits an opened book which is aged and discoloured from years of misuse.
