Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos) is an unmarried thirty-year-old who lives in Chicago and works in her father's Greek restaurant. Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
