"Before the Frost...Until the Freeze" is the eighth studio album by American rock band The Black Crowes, capturing the band's raw, organic energy in a live setting. Recorded in front of an audience at Levon Helm's historic Woodstock, New York studio, The Barn, during late February and early March 2009, this release showcases the group's dynamic performance and deep musical chemistry. Produced by longtime collaborator Paul Stacey, the album stands as the final collection of original material to feature drummer Steve Gorman, bassist Sven Pipien, and keyboardist Adam MacDougall in the band's classic lineup, marking a significant moment in their discography.

Splendidly politically incorrect by today’s standards but a bit of fun. Set in Nigeria but I suspect filmed in East a Africa - the fever trees in the wildlife scenes give it away
