The mighty Ron Sexsmith, one of Canada’s most accomplished singer-songwriters, releases his heartfelt new album *Hangover Terrace* on 29th August. Inspired by a chance comment from his drummer Don Kerr—"Hangover Terrace" instead of "Hanover Terrace"—the title captures the lingering emotional weight of the pandemic and life’s recent upheavals. Recorded at Eastcote Studios in London with longtime collaborator Martin Terefe, the album marks Ron’s first time recording in London since 2007. The creative environment was spontaneous and instinctive, with musicians like Claes Bjorklund and Ed Harcourt returning from past sessions, and surprise appearances from legends like Robbie McIntosh (McCartney, The Pretenders).
