Kurt Russell is David Grant, a Pentagon defence analyst with a tough mission on his hands. He has to rescue 400 hostages from a hijacked 747 aircraft which is stacked full of dangerous chemical weapons and heading straight for Washington DC. Since the terrorists real objective is the destruction of the US capital, Grant realises that attempts at negotiation will be fruitless and consequently resolves to board the 747 himself. But the mission, led by Special Operations expert Austin Travis (Steven Seagal), looks doomed from the start, when the experimental aircraft they are using to board the 747 goes wildly out of control during the docking procedure. Synopsis A 747 travelling from Athens to Washington DC is hijacked by a group ofterrorists. They claim it s to force the government to release their leader, but covert intelligence man David Grant doesn?t believe it. He tries to persuade the authorities to keep the plane out of US airspace while a rescue mission is put together. From the Back Cover Looking for excitement? You made the right Decision! Producer Joel Silver adds to his string of hits, and Stuart Baird, editor of Silver's spectacular Lethal Weapon trilogy, makes a memorable debut on a movie "faster than Speed and more fun than Broken Arrow" (Allen Barra, Newhouse Newspapers). Kurt Russell, Steven Seagal, Halle Barry, John Leguizamo and others in a heroic ensemble are on board for first class thrills. The mission: board a hijacked 747 mid-air. Avoid detection. Locate and disable a hair-triggered nerve-toxin bomb that could wipe out the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. Execute a split-second attack that overwhelms the terrorists and safeguards the passengers. Do it without air-to-ground radio. And do it before an increasingly jittery U.S. military blasts the airliner out of the sky. "I hope there's a good movie on this flight" an anti-terrorist operative quips. As it turns out, there's a great one: Executive Decision!

I've made a journey back to the vinyl records by buying a turntable and amplifier and decided to purchase the division bell on vinyl by pink Floyd as it's one of the best albums I've ever heard..
I was able to purchase a sealed copy of this long deleted rare edition of album Avonmore via Yachew who shipped it promptly. Their price was the best online.
