Damian Lewis - Sweet Chaos [Vinyl]

Globally recognised recording artist Damian Lewis returns with Sweet Chaos, a powerful follow-up to his acclaimed 2023 debut Mission Creep. This vinyl release captures an expansive and dynamic sound, blending blues-rock, indie rock, and soulful pop with cinematic storytelling and raw emotional intensity, reflecting Lewis's continued evolution as a songwriter.

Recorded in West London with renowned producer Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), alongside collaborators Dave Archer (guitar) and Will Cleasby (drums), the album shifts from the tenderness of his debut to something more urgent and restless. Themes explored across the record include love, loss, frustration, and release.

The album features a range of styles, from the brooding, blues-infused opener 'No Man's Land' to the swaggering pop-funk storytelling of 'Pentonville Prison' and the anthemic pull of 'Traffic Jam.' Standout tracks include 'Leech,' a sharp indie-rock critique of media intrusion, the haunting 'Question Mark,' and the electrifying closing track 'Fix Me Up,' which features Alison Mosshart of The Kills. Moments of uplift are found in tracks like the spirited 'Advent' and the expansive 'King.'
