Description
Miles Davis’ Round About Midnight is a classic jazz album, pressed here on 180g purple vinyl with two bonus tracks. It also includes newly prepared liner notes by Brian Morton of the Penguin Guide to Jazz and Paris’ Jazz Magazine.
The album balances affection for jazz’s past with a forward-looking approach, and its 1957 release came during a prolific period in Davis’ career. Jazz Magazine describes it as one of the high points of that period, before Davis established himself among the great leaders in jazz history.
