Description
On the Record is a new studio album by British songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan, whose career spans six decades. This vinyl release features songs including the duet “Is That You?” with Andrea Corr of The Corrs.
Produced by O’Sullivan alongside Andy Wright, the album brings his melodic songwriting, wit and understated humour to rich, timeless production mixed by Tony Hoffer. It follows more than 55 years after his debut album, Himself.
Highlights include the soulful “It’s Me”, with a seventies feel and echoes of Steely Dan, and the wryly autobiographical “Growing Old Disgracefully”.
