Description
MOI is a Faust album curated by Jean-Herve Peron, presented on a single audio CD. It brings together Peron’s personal ideas and memories with contributions from more than twenty people across the extended Faust family.
Recorded over two winter weeks at Schiphorst studio in northern Germany, the album moves between musique concrète, avant-pop, jazz, spoken word and experimental electronics. Its playful, collaborative approach draws on Fluxus and dadaist humour alongside deeply personal experiences.
Standout pieces include the tape-and-found-sound collage “Charles et Leon”, the late-night jazz ballad “Du Fehlst Mir” and the communal closing track “Doux Ami”.
