Description
Like Plasticine is the third album from Australian singer-songwriter and producer Gordi, also known as Sophie Payten. This white vinyl edition features 12 songs reflecting on personal change, identity and the finite nature of human experience.
Drawing on experiences including coming out and working as a doctor on the frontline during the pandemic, Gordi explores beauty and heartbreak across the album. Her earlier albums Reservoir and Our Two Skins charted her journey through self-discovery, sexuality and identity; Our Two Skins received an AIR Award and was nominated for an ARIA and two J Awards.
Standout songs include “GD (Goddamn)”, “Alien Cowboy” and “Lunch At Dune”, featuring SOAK. “PVC Divide” features Anais Mitchell.
