Description
Like a Plague Upon the Land is a 2005 EP by Indiana doom metal band The Gates of Slumber, reissued on vinyl. It was never previously available on vinyl and is suited to fans of traditional, slow and heavy doom rooted in 1970s rock.
Formed by Karl Simon in 1998, The Gates of Slumber are known for their doom metal sound. This punchy early release is praised for its authenticity to the genre, with a style reminiscent of Reverend Bizarre and Saint Vitus.
