Installation and Operation

For accurate temperature control, the heater should be placed diagonally within the aquarium, rather than vertically or horizontally, as the thermostat is located at the top of the unit. Before installation, check that the glass tube is undamaged and that the mains supply voltage matches the heater's requirement. Fix the suckers to the heater and adjust the temperature dial to your desired setting. The integral thermostat will automatically turn the heater off once the target temperature is reached, which is indicated by the red light turning off.
