About the Artist:
Over nearly two decades, composer and multi-instrumentalist M. Geddes Gengras has cultivated an extensive catalog of synth-focused music. He has been a key figure in influential experimental groups such as Sun Araw, Pocahaunted, Robedoor, and Akron/Family. Gengras also blurs the lines between dub and electronic music with Duppy Gun Productions, collaborating with Jamaican artists and Sun Araw's Cameron Stallones. His solo works have graced labels including Room40, Leaving Records, Holy Mountain, and Umor Rex. Previously based in Los Angeles, Gengras now resides in upstate New York.

'Guest List' Album Overview:
'Guest List' represents Gengras's most ambitious song cycle to date. The album masterfully weaves his own synths and electronics with contributions from an extensive cast of collaborators. Experience the intricate drum performances of Greg Fox, the exploratory guitar work of Ben Chasny (Six Organs of Admittance), the evocative vocals of Christina Carter (Charalambides), and many more. These diverse elements act as brushstrokes, painting across Gengras's dense mixes and broadening his expressive range to create a deeply communal and personal musical program.
