Marco Benevento - Glera [Vinyl]

Big Crown Records proudly presents Glera, Marco Benevento's debut album on the label. This genre-bending jazz record masterfully blends elements of soul and reggae, creating a unique sonic landscape. Benevento, known for his virtuosic keyboard skills and bandleading, also shines as a composer, building immersive worlds from rhythm, tone, and feeling.

Inspired by Italian film scores and melody, the project began as an intuitive exercise and evolved into a broader, more muscular collection of tracks. The music moves cinematically, seamlessly integrating jazz improvisation with reggae grooves, orchestral textures, and psych-pop atmospheres. Glera is both exploratory and grounded, complex yet undeniably groove-forward, showcasing Benevento's purpose-driven approach to sound.
