Thee Marloes - Di Hotel Malibu [audioCD]

Big Crown proudly presents Di Hotel Malibu, the sophomore album from Indonesian trio Thee Marloes. This collection marks a confident expansion of their sound, moving toward something more porous and conversational while retaining the deep groove established on their debut, Perak. Composed of Natassya Sianturi (vocalist/keyboardist), Sinatrya Dharaka (guitarist/producer), and Tommy Satwick (drummer), this album showcases their growth through broader arrangements, new instrumental colors, and unexpected rhythmic turns.

• Sophomore album from Surabaya trio Thee Marloes, released on Big Crown Records.
• Features a wider spectrum of arrangements and a looser approach to structure reflecting recent life experiences.
• Includes tracks sung in both English and the native language of Indonesian, such as "Harap Dan Ragu."
• Showcases musicianship with tracks like "Under the Silver Moon" (a two-stepper) and the introspective "The More."

The album explores themes ranging from long-distance love to pursuing musical dreams:

1. Under the Silver Moon
2. Six Years
3. Harap Dan Ragu
4. The More
