Ten Years After - Cricklewood Green [2026 Deluxe Version]

Originally released in 1970, Cricklewood Green captures Ten Years After at the height of their international success, following their iconic Woodstock performance. Led by Alvin Lee's virtuosic guitar, the band masterfully blended their Chicago blues foundations with a harder rock edge, boogie rhythms, and nascent progressive influences, marking a significant evolution in their sound.

This album showcases the band's growing embrace of studio experimentation, moving beyond their renowned live energy into more intricate and layered arrangements. The era-defining hit single 'Love Like a Man' achieved significant chart success, solidifying the band's status on both sides of the Atlantic.

This deluxe reissue has been newly remastered at Air Mastering to restore its original sonic power and detail. Disc two features a newly mixed performance by Charlie Russell of their second set at the Fillmore East on February 27th, 1970, demonstrating the band's raw live energy. Additionally, this release includes a selection of rarities, highlighted by the previously unheard 'Cricklewood Jam' demo, recorded during the album sessions.

The package is enriched with newly written liner notes by Nigel Williamson, featuring interviews with band members, rare photographs, and ephemera, offering deep insight into this pivotal album.
