Hiba Tawaji & Ibrahim Maalouf - A La Francaise [Vinyl]

A La Francaise is a collaborative album by Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf, reimagining classics from the French repertoire. This vinyl edition comes in a gatefold sleeve with an insert.

Featuring the French Republican Guard Orchestra and a jazz quintet, the album brings together orchestral music, jazz and Eastern influences. Tawaji’s expressive vocals and Maalouf’s arrangements create a dialogue between their musical heritages.

French classics including “La boheme”, “La javanaise” and “Que je t'aime” are reinterpreted with a cinematic scope, while “Jardin d'hiver” and “Toulouse” add to the album’s varied repertoire.
