Description
2112 is a concept album by Rush, originally released in 1976 and available here as a reissued audio CD. It brings together futuristic science-fiction themes, rock riffs and contrasting musical textures.
The title suite helped establish the album as a landmark of the progressive-rock era, moving from acoustic passages to heavier rock.
Standout songs include “The Temples of Syrinx”, “A Passage to Bangkok”, “Something for Nothing”, “Tears” and “Lessons”.
