Lunatic Soul - Through Shaded Woods [Vinyl]

Experience the seventh album from Lunatic Soul, the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Mariusz Duda, presented on a gatefold LP edition pressed on pearl vinyl. 'Through Shaded Woods' marks a significant evolution in the Lunatic Soul discography, moving away from electronics to explore the darker realms of Scandinavian and Slavic folk, drawing inspiration from artists like Heilung and Wardruna.

This album is a deeply personal journey for Duda, inspired by his childhood home and the surrounding forests and lakes of Poland. He aimed to capture the essence of freedom, nature, and primal ritualistic dances, infusing the music with shamanic, Slavic, and Viking moods. The result is an intense, dynamic, and danceable collection that moves from atmospheric introductions to melodious, trance-like passages reminiscent of Dead Can Dance.
