Clannad - Macalla [audioCD]

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Clannad's pivotal 1985 album, Macalla (meaning 'Echo' in Irish), presented here as a newly remastered audio CD. This ninth studio album marked the band's first major international success, masterfully blending their traditional Irish folk roots with a more mainstream, pop-influenced sound.

• Features the iconic duet "In a Lifetime" featuring U2's Bono.
• Pivotal album that bridged Clannad's folk origins with contemporary sounds.

Building on the momentum of earlier successes like the internationally recognized 'Theme from Harry's Game' (1982) and the 'Robin of Sherwood' soundtrack (Legend, 1984), Macalla solidified Clannad's position for broader success.
