Fluisteraars - Jacht der Mysterien

Fluisteraars, the acclaimed heavy metal band, return with their sixth full-length album, Jacht der Mysterien. This release marks a significant milestone as their first album fully conceived and performed as a complete band in a live setting. The album, translating to "hunt of mysteries," delves into the pursuit of the transcendental unknown, exploring themes of elusiveness, allure, and the continuous search for new perspectives. Inspired by local legends of individuals lost to mysterious lights in the woods and observations of their immediate surroundings, Fluisteraars crafts a sound that is both urgent and impermanent.

Album Concept:

Jacht der Mysterien centers on the concept of mystery as something elusive yet deeply alluring. The album explores how mysteries become clearer through questioning and pursuit, only to slip away into various realms like forests, history, thought, or space. Embracing mystery means resisting fixed frameworks and continuously seeking new viewpoints.

Unique Recording Process:

Unlike conventional studio works, this album was captured live in a single take with longtime producer T. Cochrane, preserving the music as a unified whole. This spontaneous and collective approach intensifies the album's sense of urgency and movement. The recording was subsequently reamped through the hollow cylinder of an abandoned water tower, lending the sound a drifting, fog-like character that evokes a sense of the unknown, where anything might vanish or emerge without warning.
