Bad Lieutenant [Blu-ray]

101 Films presents Abel Ferrara’s iconic 1992 neo-noir film, Bad Lieutenant. Driven by a career-defining performance from Harvey Keitel as the corrupt, drug-addicted New York City cop, this unfiltered tale explores themes of self-destruction, guilt, forgiveness, and redemption. The film shocked audiences and critics with its uncompromising depiction of crime in the city's seedy underbelly, standing as Ferrara’s most incendiary and finest work.

The story follows the Lieutenant, who for twenty years has ruled the streets through gambling, stealing, using, and killing. As he investigates the brutal assault of a young nun, the case forces him to confront his own sins, walking the line between self-destruction and the elusive promise of redemption.
