Brighton / London based death metal quintet ABHORRENT DECIMATION release their sophomore album and Prosthetic debut ?The Pardoner? on July 28th. A masterclass in dynamic, cutting edge modern death metal for appreciators of Fit For An Autopsy, The Black Dahlia Murder and Thy Art Is Murder? Sonically, the band makes considerable progression on the foundations of their sound laid out by previous releases. ?The Pardoner? sees the band shave away some of their more traditional influences as a fresh writing force further develops on their skill of creating hard hitting, modern, memorable hooks, now set within obsessively considered composition. The integral force behind the process, David Archer comments ?We?ve really tried both with the production as well as with the musical content to push ourselves and make something that we are all proud of. We wanted to create an album that was melodic, aggressive, interesting and a little more modern than our previous releases. We controlled the entire sonic process ourselves which really helped us to be able to sculpt the sound into exactly what we had in our heads. We have all put a huge amount of time and care into this record and sincerely hope that it is apparent in the way the final product sounds.?

I've made a journey back to the vinyl records by buying a turntable and amplifier and decided to purchase the division bell on vinyl by pink Floyd as it's one of the best albums I've ever heard..
